Wordprocessors on HPUX

Hi All,
Does anyone know word processors for HPUX which can do things like Wordperfect create/modify/print documents and templates.

We are looking at replacing wordperfect application with a latest software.

Thanks in advance

Gnome 1.4 available at software.hp.com does come with a basic word processor that can do most of these functions.

What you might look into compiling on hpux is openoffice. http://www.openoffice.org

Re: Wordprocessors on HPUX

Dear Sathish,

I installed Gnome 1.4 on HP-UX in 2003.

Abiword (which comes with Gnome) had problems with fonts and I never got it to start up.

Maybe someone reading this knows how to get Abiword actually working on HP-UX.

Kind regards, Christian

Sathish -

I have been using FrameMaker on HP-UX systems for quite some time now. It isn't cheap to purchase the first time, but Adobe is keeping up with new versions on HP-UX. FrameMaker has far more features than a simple word processor, but has a lot of very nice features. If you do technical documentation, it is very good at that. You can find out a lot more information at Adobes web site:
