Can someone summarize the startup sequence of the Xserver and CDE? I am having trouble understanding the process. I have a C110 workstation that I can not get cde to start on the local monitor. I can get cde to start when I connect using exceed from my pc.
Thanks in advance.

SolutionTo reenable CDE if it is diabled, try this :
Uncomment the line in /etc/dt/config/Xservers
#* Local local@console /usr/bin/X11/X :0
Execute the following:
'/usr/dt/bin/dtconfig -e'
'/sbin/init.d/dtlogin.rc start;exit'
Hope this helps.
