Color LaserJet 2550 in linux

Hi all,
I have asked this question in the Printers forum, but nobody answer me, so i will try in this forum.
I want to purchase a color laserjet 2550, but i need to be sure that it works fine with linux.

does anybody know if the color laserjet 2500 printer drivers work with the 2550 model?

I had already searched in that page, but I think the 2500 model does not work like 2500, so I am not sure if I will purchase that printer.

Perhaps I will purchase a low cost samsung laser printer, they come with linux drivers by default.
