Configuring 2 ethernet adapters simultanaeously one for IPv6 & one forIPv4

Hello
Can anyone tell me how to go about configuring
2 ethernet adapters simutanaeousle onr for IPv6 and the other for IPv4.
and can I run a telnet server on the v4 one
and a client on the v6 one, and connect to the v4 one.
If anyone can direct me to some resources so that i could clear all these fundas!!!!
