Re: driver redhat 9.0
The OS lacks drivers for this very modern hardware. I'd suggest CentOS 4 (Red Hat AS 4) or a newer distribution.

Re: driver redhat 9.0
When I was installing, I found the following information.
First step: I selected the graphical mode. Then it displayed the following information.
No hard drives have been found. You probably need to manually choose device drivers for the installation to succeed.Would you like to select drivers now.
1. YES 2.No
I selected YES.
Second step: It displayed the following information.
The following devices have been found on your system.
RTL 8139, SMC EZ card Fast Ethernet (8139too)
1. DONE 2.ADD DEVICE.
Third step: If I select either one, it is running anaconda ,red hat enterprise and finally goes to graphical mode. After selecting languages, mouse and keyboard options, then it asks, how can u select the partition either automatically or manually partition with disk druid.
If ,I select either one , it was showing the following information.
An error has occurred,no valid devices were found on which to create new file systems,.please check your hardware for the cause of this problem.
After that the system is rebooting auto matically.
please help me

Re: driver redhat 9.0
I am trying to help.
Your system has a setup utility [F8 or F9] at boot. You need to use that utility to set up your storage.
After you complete that, Red Hat will find the disk.
I use these very same servers, and it works.
