Fedora Core 3 won't boot after installation on HP DL380 G4

after a succesfull installation of FC3(Fedora Core 3) on a HP DL380 G4,the system won't boot!
The screen says it's booting from c:
when I install Fedora Core 2 on it,it works fine.then I upgrade FC2 to FC3 without upgrade boot loader,and it booting and running fine.
what's wrong with FC3

Looks like one of these possible issues:

1) The disk preparation software is not compatible with FC3. Unlikely becasue the install should have failed.

2) Quality Assurance issue with Fedora Core 3.

The server is suportted. Think its time for a bugzilla bug report.

A detailed error message would be most useful.

Steven, what is your source for this statement?
AFAIK [HP certification matrix], only RHEL and SLES are supported for Proliants.

Yes I know for that problem :)
Start install process again but install only Grub.
If your server can't boot again just install old grub using your FC2 install CD.

Red Hat says the server works.

It is not uncommon for HP to be slow in certifying releases. The FC3 hit the market the first week of November. It will be several months before this box shows up on the support matrix at HP.
