How to Configure Samba Server in RHEL Advance Server 4.0

Hi all,
Can anyone pls tell me how to configure Samba server from Red Hat Enterprise Linux Advance Server 4.0?
and can anyone pls tell me some of the important commands which are useful while using samba server after connect to a windows client?

You must configure the smb.conf file. The file has a lot of configuration options and operating environments, so check the Samba Collection Howto available in /usr/share/doc/samba- directory.

You should be aware of the smbstat command and testparm.

You may configure the smb.conf file to start samba service.

The samba version on RHEL 4 is samba 3

useful command:

net
smbpasswd
pdbedit
