Install GNOME from Fedora Core 2 - Development Tree on zx200 (ia64)

I have installed Fedora Core 2 development on a zx2000 workstation. During the first tries, the installation with GNOME and KDE laways was aborted with an error. The installatione without both has succeded, an I have a bootable system
again.
But I want update to GNOME. If I start
system-config-packages -t http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/development/ia64/

Both packages are not selectable.
I'm looking for any hint how to install the gnome desktop after the initial system installation. With rpm -Uvh gnome-* there are too many dependencies.

Thanks,
Guenter

Maybe you should pay and shift over to the update service from Redhat. You should also look at the `urpmi' package.

Dependency hell can be avoided if you use Debian GNU/Linux with its apt-get and friends. Best ....
