Linux server is not listed in the Xmanager Broadcast

No problems in using pathworks etc to connect to linux. But xmanager
"C:\Program Files\NetSarang\Xmanager2\Xmanager.exe" -broadcast, does no list the Linux server. It only lists Unix Servers.
or How to start gnome from PC.
Please check the issue.

XDMCP service in your Linux box is not enabled.

Check the following URL:

Re: Linux server is not listed in the Xmanager Broadcast

If XDMCP is enabled, another possible cause is VLAN subnetting. XDMCP will not work unless both hosts are on the same subnet, even if they can ping each other.

You would have to do direct connect with your X client instead of XDMCP under these circumstances.

On the Linux host:
ifconfig

On the Windows box:
ipconfig /all
