load 1.00 due to PSP 8.25
since we have installed PSP 8.25 on a ML370 G4 with SLES10 SP1 we have a load of 1.00
We found cmasm2d is responsible (wait I/O).
I have two questions:
1. Is this a bug?
2. Is there an impact for performance of the server?
Kind Regards, Michael

Re: load 1.00 due to PSP 8.25
1. This sounds like a but.
2. I/O wait is not good, because i/o stacks up and other work can not be done until its finished. If the problem is intermittent and occasional, don't worry. If you start getting user response problems, let HP know about it.

Re: load 1.00 due to PSP 8.25
I am very happy that you wrote the last word in the first sentence not with a double t ;-)
I spoke with HP and they told me they have a workaround to reduce the load. Add a "-w 5" in cmasm2d parameter PFLAGS=â -p 30 $MOUSFLAGSâ . This results in a wait of 5 seconds during the polling of the HP agents. But in thsi case you have a 5s blackout. Another option is to downgrade to 8.15.
