LOG: POST Error: 1720-S.M.A.R.T. Hard Drive Detects Imminent Failure
Experiencing following error in hplog -v
"LOG: POST Error: 1720-S.M.A.R.T. Hard Drive Detects Imminent Failure"
On Digging found that the physical drive 1 in slot 0 was showing as "Predictive Failure".
See below.

Found that the severity of this even as AUTION in HPIMLVIEW.

Shalom,
Yes you need to replace it. These messages are almost always accurate. Since you are raid 1 you could simply wait for it to fail, but this might impede system peformance as there is i/o to a disk that may not be able to handle it.
Best to be proactive and replace it ASAP.
