Re: Mail Server

Hi tinu 007

Try once Google and use 'configuring sendmail' as a keyword. You will find a lot of documentation and how to's.

Re: Mail Server

Shalom,

http://sendmail.org

All basic operations for sendmail are there.

You can not directly migrate configuration files from HP-UX to Linux. But sendmail will tell you what basic files to work with.

sendmail.org is one of the best documentation sties around.

Re: Mail Server

I believe not much Tinu.

Sendmail still works and is administered/managed exactly the same on Linux as it is on any OS.

Ditto with other MDA's (mail ddelivery) software.

The most important thing to still observe though are:

1) Storage - make thm fast and robust
2) Log management
3) Network safeties.
