Mirror /boot/efi on ia64 (rx4640)

Hi all,

I have an rx4640 with RHEL AS3.0 installed, and want to mirror the boot disks for redundancy. The question is how to do this? I'm aware that /boot/efi needs to be a VFAT partition - does this need to be visible to the firmware, hence making raidtools unusable?

Does anyone have any recommendations for root/boot disk redundancy in software for the Itanium platform?

Hi Mark,

Efi boot partition is rarely change.
You can use dd to dublicate all EFI partition.
You will need this again only if you change some thing on efi partition. My be never :)
