MSL60xx driver and Changer/Robotic utilities for Linux
Can anyone tell me where can I download MSL60xx driver for Linux? With the driver in-placed, I also want to have a program to control the MSL changer/robotic arm. Which software should I use and supported by LInux?
Thanks

Re: MSL60xx driver and Changer/Robotic utilities for Linux
I heard that MSL6000 firmware has specific Tru64 and Linux, depend on the server.
Since the existing MSL6000 is initially bought for Tru64, I think this MSL6000 is only work for Tru64. Even if we got a driver for linux, I don't think the driver can work with this MSL6000 Tru64 based firmware.
Can anyone please tell me where can I download this information?
I m very appreciate for any suggestion.
Thanks

As far as I'm aware there isn't specific firmware for Tru64 and Linux - it should just work.
I've had Tru64 and Linux sharing a MSL5026 before now without any problems, and without any drivers being required.
Cheers,
Rob

Re: MSL60xx driver and Changer/Robotic utilities for Linux
See the link below:
http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21233628
and scroll down the Notes 3.
I wonder if MSL6000 also have this restriction.
Thanks
