Had a really bad time with BCM57000 driver
on United linux SP2.
All the versions available for download just
"core dump" as soon as you bring up the interface. (I can load the driver with insmod though).
The default driver that comes with the UL distribution does not have this issue.
But I 'd like to use the:
bonding-1.0.3-12HP.src.rpm to team the NIC.
Can you run this package over the default driver or does it really need the latest BCM5700 driver. ( 6.2.... ).
Tks for any information or experience on this.

I had a setup with bonding over bcm5700 and it works just fine with bcm5700 driver and bonding driver (it's a separate one) included in kernel >= 2.4.21. I advice you to download the kernel from kernel.org and compile it yourself. Don't use the drivers from hp!
Hope that's help!
