Solution
This is known bug in the earlier Oracle10g releases (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=respawning+too+fast++init.cssd+).
As far as I know, this bug/messages don't prevent Oracle to start & run.
In order to avoid such messages, just remove /etc/init.d/init.cssd line from /etc/inittab.
I suggest you to upgrade oracle to the latest update.
Rgds,
Vitaly

Re: oracle getting stop in Linux As 3.0
Shalom wish,
Follow Vitaly's suggestion, get current on patches.
The fact that you are having cssd problems means you are having clustering problems. There are almost certainly other relavent messages concerning ccsd and cman and other cluster services in /var/log/messages.
If you read through them, you may find the key to the issue.
If you are running Oracle in a cluster, it may be the cluster problems that are bringing down the database. Still, Oracle could be causing the clustering problems and patching might be helpful with this.
