anyone has installed slackware 10.1 on a proliant
ml310 g2 with SATA raid controller?
the controller/RAID is compatible?

You can do it, though I have not.
Get the cd for your server that is designed to let you boot and set up disk. You set up the disk and then you boot Linux and you can install.
The most common problem is not setting up disk ahead of the install.
