PING test.bb.com (xx.xx.xx.xx) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from xx.xx.xx.xx.not.updated.testtest.com (xx.xx.xx.xx): icmp_seq=0 ttl=54 time=95.9 ms
I reviewed "man ping" and googled, but I still don't understand what should indicate "not.updated"?

Re: "not.updated" into ping output - what does it mean?
Are you sure that you do not have a gateway named "not.updated.testtest.com"?
can you perform a "ping not.updated.testtest.com"?
revert
kind regards

Re: "not.updated" into ping output - what does it mean?
The mistic "xx.xx.xx.xx.not.updated.test.com" came from reverse DNS zone for xx.xx.xx.xx!
