"not.updated" into ping output - what does it mean?

I reviewed "man ping" and googled, but I still don't understand what should indicate "not.updated"?

Are you sure that you do not have a gateway named "not.updated.testtest.com"?

can you perform a "ping not.updated.testtest.com"?

xx.xx.xx.xx are the same IP in two cases, so it's not gateway.

Hi,

This would appear to be something coming back from your DNS servers as previously mentioned.

What does the output of

nslookup test.bb.com

or

nslookup xx.xx.xx.xx

show you ?

The mistic "xx.xx.xx.xx.not.updated.test.com" came from reverse DNS zone for xx.xx.xx.xx!
