raid controller is enabled but physical drives not detected
I got this message using hpacucli:
[root@csadmin21 ~]# hpacucli
HP Array Configuration Utility CLI 8.35-7.0
Detecting Controllers...Done.
Type "help" for a list of supported commands.
Type "exit" to close the console.
=> ctrl all show config
Smart Array P410i in Slot 0 (Embedded) (sn: **Confidential Info Erased**)
=> ctrl slot=0 create type=ld drives=1I:1:1,1I:1:2 raid=1
Error: Cannot create array. Cannot add physical drive 1I:1:1
=> ctrl all show status
Smart Array P410i in Slot 0 (Embedded)
Controller Status: Not OK
Cache Status: Permanently Disabled
Battery/Capacitor Status: Recharging
=> ctrl slot=0 ld all show
Error: The specified device does not have any logical drives.
=> ctrl slot=0 pd all show
Error: The specified controller does not have any physical drives on it.
Any ideas why i'm getting this error message ?

Re: raid controller is enabled but physical drives not detected
This does not look good at all.
Since you're obviously running hpacucli, what are you currently using as system disks?
Is your system perhaps dependent on last gasps of a possibly-dying controller, or is it booted from SAN? In the latter case the internal SmartArray controller might not be in use at all.
Please run this command and paste the output to this thread:
=> ctrl slot=0 show config detail

Re: raid controller is enabled but physical drives not detected
Maybe worth a shot?
During POST (or on the blade you can check the IML / iLO log) - are there any POST errors relating to the controller?
Just want to make sure.. As you are booting from SAN - are there even local hard drives installed? =)
