Single Sign-on Solution


We have some linux server and a windows server which is running AD , we want all linux user use the user a/c and password in windows , that means linux & windows has the same password and this password is storing in windows , can suggest the method ? thx

Shalom,

I can think of two that will work with AD.

1) Use LDAP client on Linux and integrate all logins into the Windows AD server.
2) AD integration using Samba server/client.

Either is quite capable of integrating into a single sign on environment.

1 rather radical idea: Use Samba/Linux to replace the windows AD server. This is quite possible as well, though it annoyes the windows weanies.
