SYTEM GOES OUT OF NETWORK SUDDENLY

iam using mandrake 7.2 Frequently the system goes out of network and if i give ifdown eth0 and then ifup eth0 it comes up.What may be the problem

Most probably the problem will be gone when you turn off power management in your PC's BIOS Setup.
