						Hi,
I'm not sure if I'm understanding you correctly. It sounds like you want to boot up your server, but NOT have all the various HP agents start up. Am I corrent?
Most HP agents start as services in the /etc/init.d directory.
For example, there is an hpasm and hp-ilo in there. If you don't want them to start on system boot, simply chkconfig them off. For example:
chkconfig hpasm off
This will not stop a running daemon, but next time you reboot, it will not start.
Let me know if this helps.
