I am about to burn down my system and build a dual boot system with Red Hat 7.2 and Win 98. Each will have it's own seperate hard drive.
What is everyone's favorite method for accomplishing this without a linux floppy boot disk. I'm interested in all ideas. Favorite boot loaders and why, etc.
Points will be generously given for "good stuff".
Thanks,
Kel

Do you have any knowledge of GRUB?
Here's your hat!

Solutionhttp://www.gnu.org/software/grub/grub-faq.en.html
I've not used it extensivly (just a little on RH7.2), but it looks just as configurable and maulable as 'Lilo'.
However, if you're not willing to learn new stuff and are already comfortable with Lilo, then stick with it (well, that's my thought)..

I think what your looking for is in here:
http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/Linux+Win9x+Grub-HOWTO/index.html.
OR
http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/mini/Multiboot-with-GRUB.html
It gives you step-by-step how to setup dual boot using GRUB. If you still want to use LILO use this one:
http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/mini/Multiboot-with-LILO.html
Thanks for participating in the forums.
