Re: Blue Screen...
hi,
in this case i would recommend you to run server diagnostic from the smartstart cd.
probably you have a HW problem.

Re: Blue Screen...
0x0000007F stop error most commonly related to hardware problem (RAM, motherboard)
In such cases we usually try to swap drives from "problematic" server to another equal server. If problems appear on second server as well - we just open call in HP
Of course, this way is ok only if you have another DL580 server

Re: Blue Screen...
On a HPDL380g4, inserting a USB thumb drive key did this to me on 2008R2. Interestingly enough, this USB key is formatted with the UDF filesystem but Win2008R2 says i need to format the drive to make it readable. Linux has no problem with and indeed was used by HP SmartStart 8.50 to do the initial installation of Win2008R2. Same exact usb thumbdrive was used to to install this system.
Stop 0x7F (0x8, 0x80050036, 0x6F8, 0xFFFFF9600029E070)
win32k.sys address 0xFFFFF9600029E070 datestamp 4c1c483f
So i am disappointed the Win32 subsystem of a 64bit kernel can crash my domain controller. Clearly, MSKB 975617 indicates that there have been many problems with UDF filesystems writing - it must not have been tested.
Again, no problem with my Linux systems on the same hardware so don't see how it would be a USB subsystem problem.
