Booting from a USB drive on a dv2000

Is it possible to boot from a usb drive with a dv2000? If so, what is it labeled on the boot menu? Also, on a sidenote, would it also be possible to boot from an SD card? Thank you.

USB drive yes it is possible,but SD drive no.

Yes definitely u can boot from a USB drive.Not possibe though with an SD card

so whats the answer i have a hp pavilian dv 2000

 

my system makes it through the windows setup on 64bit win7 

 

but after wont boot up all the way it keeps restarting even after replacing hd 

 

i put iso win7 64 home on usb now how do i boot off of that ?
