usb-serial adapter not working on Vista
Hi ,
I have a new hp laptop Compaq 6510b and am trying to use my hp usb-serial adapter with powerterm to connect to a cisco switch and nothing is happening. The device looks like it is installed OK in Device Manager but i am wondering if it WILL work. I have all teh same settings in powerterm as on the XP PC ie Baud rate 9600 Parity 8/none 1 stop bit Flow control Xon/Xoff Terminal VT100 and the correct port number . Has anybody seen this before ?
Many Thanks ,
Karen
