Re: Windows 10 on an hp Proliant G5 dl380
Hello,
Please find below the OS support matrix for DL380 G5 Server.
https://techlibrary.hpe.com/us/en/enterprise/servers/supportmatrix/windows_archived.aspx
Windows10 is not supported on DL380 G5. We recommend you to install a supported OS.
Thanks.

Hello
I know that it is not supported. But I saw a guy on YouTube that has win10 running on it and I saw a ProLiant g5 on Ebay that also has win10 running on it.And the application I want to run on there does need windows10 or windows server 2016/2019.

Re: Windows 10 on an hp Proliant G5 dl380
Hello,
We understand the requirement.
However, we cannot assure if the server will work as expected if a unsupported OS is installed.
Please do confirm if we are trying to install the OS using Smart start CD or using manual installation.

Re: Windows 10 on an hp Proliant G5 dl380
It's definitely possible to run Windows 10 on an HP Proliant G5. Still, it might require a bit of effort to get it working properly. One issue you might be facing is that the Proliant G5 was designed to run server operating systems, not desktop ones like Windows 10. This could be causing issues with the boot process.
If you're still having trouble, you might want to try checking out some forums or online communities for advice. Some users have successfully modified the BIOS settings or installed a different bootloader.
BTW, if you're looking for a Windows 10 key, there are some great deals on Reddit Windows Keys.
