Migrating data from NS1202 to NS2302 systems

Hi ,

We will soon be upgrading from an NS1202 NSK system to a new Itanium NS2302 system. We are currently investigating data migration strategies. We are told there are no tape drives that are compatable to both systems, so we are now looking to have to copy data across our network. We would prefer to migrate the data from tape backups. Can anyone think of a better solution rather than migrating data across the network?
