NonStop Safeguard as an application authenticator

Hi,

Our customer tries to convert an application to use NS Safeguard as an authenticator.  Currently application users don't have direct access to the NonStop platfrom and they access their application via application authenticator. Is it doable (we don't want to create userids on Nonstop platform)?  If yes, how we accomplish that?
