ACU from OpenVMS OE DVD

We just installed a P400 array controller. Does anyone know if we can run ACU when booting the server from the OpenVMS OE DVD? I know I can use ORCA for basic configuration of the array, but I'd rather use ACU.

I called HP support, and apparently they
re staffed a little to thin on the weekends to know the answer.

Not unless you can get it installed onto the installation DVD environment.

OpenVMS Engineering doesn't typically work from DVD, typically. The OS bits get copied onto a magnetic disk somewhere, and operations and configuration proceed from there. (I was one of the few OpenVMS Engineers that burned and booted DVDs with regularity, FWIW.) Disks are just faster, and easier to configure and adjust and work from.
