Re: Chasing Ian
Well analyzed Antonio. In French they have tu/vous je/nous but the strange thing is that vous/nous are also used as they/we (plurals).

Re: Chasing Ian
your are fantastic man :-)
you explained my post about Uwe perfectly (due my funny english I already posted bad sentences for Uwe :-(
Jan,
don't offend but you write better english than italian ;-)
Uwe,
you are right: practice practice ...
I'm practing english as I can: writing in this forum and listening english and american movies on DVD; in Italy all TV movies are in italian tongue, so there is no way to listen fluent english.

Re: Chasing Ian
SCSI is usually pronounced "scuzi" (reading scuzi in englis mode) but it's different from italian work "scusi" (translated in english as sorry) becasue "scusi" is pronounced as english "scoozi" :-O
FYI italian language has a thirth form very very informal used rarely.
Wim,
I have to search DUVEL beer in Italy: I guess it's very good to drink!
Cheers

Re: Chasing Ian
on a note.. I have heard SCSI pronounced many ways across the USA... majority say scuzzy.
as in:
Dirty; grimy: scuzzy floors.
Disreputable; sleazy: â he ran a scuzzy operationâ
... now I need to find and try one of those

Re: Chasing Ian
Ich gratuliere. Hoffentlich gibt es genuegend "stille Zeiten" um Ian wieder zu ueberhohlen!
I think google will translate this to:
"I congratulate. Hopefully will there be sufficient "silent times" to pass Ian again"
Jan, ik denk dat je in Maart naar Nashua moet komen om Martin te ontmoeten.
