Hi,
I'm new to this forum.
I have a DS25 running OpenVMS 7.3-2 connected to a MSA1000. I have connected the MSA Controller console via the RJ45Z-DB9 cable to COM2 on the DS25.
In OpenVMS I do a SET HOST/DTE TTA0: (TTA0: is the port for COM2)
I receive the following error messages. I get some out put on the screen and can type commands.
ROCHA1_SYSTEM>set host/dte tta0:
%REM-I-TOQUIT, connection established
Press Ctrl/\ to quit, Ctrl/@ for command mode
ROCHA1_MSA>> help
%REM-E-PORTRXERR, port receive error
-SYSTEM-W-DATAOVERUN, data overrun
Possible command verbs:
? help add c
%REM-E-PORTRXERR, port receive error
-SYSTEM-W-DATAOVERUN, data overrun
opy change download
delete
%REM-E-PORTRXERR, port receive error
-SYSTEM-W-DATAOVERUN, data overrun
These are my settings of the Terminal Port TTA0:
I think some of the parameters are wrongly ste. I have tried several changes but continue to have the errros
%REM-E-PORTRXERR, port receive error

Kalle,
Thank you
I had changed either of the paramters mentionned, but I had never both parameters active. It works now
Once more Many thanks.
