When i do a SHOW DEV DK the error count on all of my disks seems to have increased a lot over the weekend.How can i find out what these error's are or what caused them??
The errors will be recorded in the VMS error log SYS$ERRORLOG:ERRLOG.SYS. There are various tools to look at the error log depending on what version of VMS and what system you are runing on.

Karl, yes you are right - I expected Peter to reply with details of vms version and system type then he could be advised which to use. ELV is ok for a quick look but you get more detail with other things.
I found out that we had an engineer here replacing a disk so i guess error's happened then.Have reset the error count's and have not increased since so should be ok thanks anyway.
