How to initialize the disks (LUNs) from the symmetrix array


Hi,

I have assigned some disks from the EMC symmmetrix array.
But when I try to initialize these disks I get a error saying that "the device is not valid" "device path not found".
Is there any solution for this ?

welcome to the OpenVMS ITRC forum.

Is this question really related to OpenVMS ? If so, please provide the command used and the text of the error message you receive.

If not, you may want to ask in the HP-UX forum.
