SolutionThank you for the compliment.
When the opportunity presented in a forum widely read outside of the OpenVMS community, I thought that it was worth a couple of hours work to put something together.
I am glad that you enjoyed it!

Re: Nice OpenVMS article on osnews
We should be thankful to Bob Saheb (IEEE Computer Distinguished Lecturer) to spend his timing here in this forum. I have also mentioned about Bob in this forum sometime back.
I used to refresh his website
(http://www.rlgsc.com) to see any new presentation added. Also I have found hundreds of his presentation to many universities and organiszations. Even I have added some of his presentations (yet to be read) on my browser's favorites.
We can get all of his very usefull presentations all over the internet; Bob Saheb, please keep it on free of cost as you have already charged.
Thanks Bob.

Re: Nice OpenVMS article on osnews
as far as my knowledge of all kinds of snippets in various languages goes, Saheb or Sahib in Indian languages (and in Indian-influenced British English) is a masculin title of honor.
In case I am somewhat correct in this, I think it is well-deserved!
Proost.
Have one on me.

Re: Nice OpenVMS article on osnews
I respect Bob Gezelter and his presentations always. So I added "saheb" with his name. Saheb or sahib is usually being added to any one who is excellent in his field of work. This word is not from my mother tongue of Sinhala.
Actual meaning from encarta dictionary: "South Asia a respectful form of address for men in the Indian subcontinent"
