you can find TCPIP V5.3 on the OpenVMS Alpha Layered Product CD starting JUN-2002 and also on the OpenVMS Alpha V7.3-1 Operating System CD.

Don't forget to install the most recent patch TCPIP V5.3 ECO 4 (DEC-AXPVMS-TCPIP_ECO-V0503-184-4)

If you subscribe to the CD distributtions then you will have the details of how to download it from an internet site (sometimes this is more convienient than finding the CDs).

1. Does the TCPIP 5.3 support the failsafe?
2. Where could I got the standalone failsafe kits if this exist in CPQ ?

Jian-Guang,

TCPIP failSAFE support became officially available with V5.4. There was a failSAFE IP EAK (Early Adopters Kit) for V5.3 available in the past, see:

note that, as the failsafe support is now offically released in V5.4 then the EAK is no longer supported.
