Unable to locate components needed to install DECset ???

Where can I find the files/kits needed to install DECset ??? Have looked on the Layered Products CD, but they don't seem to be there ???

Digital Test Manager 4.1
LSE 4.8
SCA 4.7
MMS 3.5
PCA 4.7

I'm assuming each has to be installed separately ??

Paul,

As product names metamorphose, the alphabetic listings for the layered product distributions gets more confusing. Apologies, but that's the reality of corporate takeovers for you!

To install "HP DECset for OpenVMS Alpha" (the official nom de jour) use the combined installation kit, which can be found on CD #3 of the March 2004 Softwre Product Library in directory [DECSET125]. The products can be installed individually as options of the DECset installation.

Note that all the individual products are listed in the master index, but not always in the expected collating sequence. See "HP Code Management System", "HP Language Sensitive Editor", "HP Digital Test Manager" etc... All point to the same DECSET125 directory on CD #3.

Your best bet for finding products is to mount any of the CDs and use the SEARCH command on file [CDROM]CD_CONTENTS.DAT

As John says, they are not installed separately but as a single installation of DECset from which you select the particular components you want.
