vmscluster - cisco OTV - is anybody doing this?

Hi, I'm trying to set up a cluster between members that are connected via the cisco OTV protocol, which is supposedly a layer 2 transport protocol that connects different switches together.

I'm trying to boot a system into the cluster, and it sees the other (already up) system, and gets into the NEW state, but it never gets any further. Is anybody already doing this? I don't think it is something with the VMS setup, I think its this networking configuration.

THANKS!

Have you asked Cisco if OpenVMS cluster traffic is supported?

What is the votes, expected votes, and possible quorum disk configuration on each node in the cluster?

If you don't have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over? Reach me at first_name + "." + last_name at sysmanager net

Not a problem.  Under Post Options is a "Not the Solution" option.  Then you can Accept it on another post.

And most important of all, you can assign Kodos.
