Where to download the DEC Alpha utility FX!32 for NT 4?
Apologies for the post here, but this is directed to Alpha users.
I am running an Alpha Personal Workstation 500 with NT 4.0 SP6.
There was a 32 bit Intel application emulator and translator available at the old DEC/Compaq site known as FX!32. This was a free download.
The old DEC link ( http://www.service.digital.com/fx32/fx32_kit.html ) as well as the Compaq link ( http://www.support.compaq.com/amt/fx32/ ) are now, of course, dead. I've searched the hp.com site, without result.
Does anyone know where I can download this software now?
Regards,
Gary

Did HP ever create an official successor to ftp.compaq.com?

Re: Where to download the DEC Alpha utility FX!32 for NT 4?
official? Dunno. If you are looking for fx32, google finds an fx32v1-5 on ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/alphaserver/nt/. Should be easy to navigate two levels up and check out whether the server contains whatever you are looking for.
