Hi,
We are trying to restore our root file system from a tape library on the SAN.
When Tru64UNIX is fully booted we can see the tape library. We have now booted off the install CD, and we can not see the tape library. We did try the dn_setup -install_tape command, but this does not seem to help.
We also cannot see the library from console level, but are not sure if we should be able to !!
Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks
Andrew

Re: FC Tape library visibility from install CD for root file system restore
You have to use WWIDMGR to see FC attached disks and tapes on SRM console level except for FC attached disks that have already been configured for boot/dump support.
