How to install a software in Tru 64 Unix

I have to install Net Backup, VCS , Vxsf,Opforce softwares on HP unix and Tru 64 Unix.

Please guide me how to install these softwares

For Tru64, use the 'setld' program to install new packages.

Either that or by vendor installation routines. Don't they have an installation readme file?

There are no readme file.
I have to install softwares not packgages.

These are third party softwares.

In Tru64 - usually, the software is bundled as 'setld' packages.

Usually you have a tar file which you unpack.
Software you install with setld have a subdir kit.
You do
cd kit
setld .
Look for file that start with install

There are differents ways to install the package, could be setld, rpm, compilation or a binary installation program.

You should post the file name and the contents of the extracted package if its a tarball.

under tru64 os,use the command "setld -l "
under hp-ux os,use the command "swinstall -s"

Third party packages are best supported by the third party. These packages can differ widely and may involve many different techniques for the installation.

Setld installed programs are typically only supplied/supported by HP.
