Install Tru64 Unix V5.1B stop on AlphaServer DS15

Hi,

All Hardware test are good. I have just 1 disk and 1 VGA adapteur.

My installation start correctly, but stop after a few minutes.

Do you know problem between Tru64 V5.1B and DS15 ?

For information: No problem on Tru64 V5.1A

We have DS15 with Tru64 5.1B, no problems reported, during and after installation.

Ensure that you have the latest firmware.

Do you have any error displayed?

I try to reinstall Tru64 unix V5.1B with NHD7
on Monday and i will give you an answer.

When installing Tru64 Unix V5.1B on AlphaServer DS15 you MUST use NHD7 because you have to link a kernel to recognize hardware.
About two weeks ago I installed two DS15 machines with TRU64 V5.1B. With NHD7 everithing was OK.
What do you mean No problem on Tru64 V5.1A ?

I have installed Tru64 Unix V5.1B with the last NHD7. It's functions well. I have created one NHD7 CD Image on disk, and install NHD7 during a full Installation of version 5.1b.
