Re: machine check system fatal with panic(cpu0): system
You need to open a h/w case or send the errlog file.
Moast probably it used to be bcache parity error and there is no need to change CPU at first occurance.Because repeatition of this error is very rare.

Re: machine check system fatal with panic(cpu0): system
To open a case you must call HP to get service. Is your system under a service contract? If not you will have to pay to get service. The first thing HP will want to look at is that same error log file.

Re: machine check system fatal with panic(cpu0): system
I just checked ur errlog file and it started since
Wed 19 Sep 2007 01:44:39 GMT+06:00
and ur machine crashed
Sep 19 01:43:06 STATION_A vmunix: Machine Check SYSTEM Fatal Abort (from syscheck file)
So I wont be able to help you out from this file. You need to provide old errlog file which probably somebody moved.
And please rotate ur errlog file as of now because it is of very heavy size.
Since ur system is running fine after that i think you need not worry about the error to crop again.
Hope this help

Kapil
