Hi Guys,
Could anyone tell me if this status below says the drive is faulty? or It just need a tape media to be place in the drive?

I cannot tell if the drive has a problem.
Do you have physical access to the device? Can you check the device LEDs?
You can also diagnose problems using HP Library and Tape tools (LT&T).
First, rry cleaning the tape and replace the media.

Hello
This line "media_status 0x10001" would mean there is not tape in drive, but since you get this : "ASC/ASQ = 4/0 LUN Not ready, cause not reportable", and you have some confidence there should be a tape in the drive , then something is wrong with the drive. Try the logs, eventually uerf.
