Tru64 Omniback Client Upgrade
Hi,
I have a problem with a backup in a Tru64 machine. This machine made backup's quite good, but now its performance has degraded a lot. This machine has the DA A.04.10 installed. My cell manager is a Windows 2000 server SP4, and its Omniback version is A.05.00. I would like to upgrade the client to the cell manager version, but I don't know if following the steps for HP-UX works. How can i upgrade the client from A.04.10 to A.05.00 in a Tru64 machine. I dont't have experience with omniback on Unix machines so i apreciated a little pacience to explain to me how can i do it...lol Tks to all. I almost forgot, i don't have a installation server for UNIX machines.

Re: Tru64 Omniback Client Upgrade
Ana,
Please check the url below from HP on the documents for OMNIBACK and see if that help you.
I could be wrong but the procedure for upgrade/installation is probably generic for all flairs of Unix unless specified

Re: Tru64 Omniback Client Upgrade
Hello, I would like to apreciate the help given to me. The upgrade of the agent on the TRU64 machine was very very easy. Just place the HPUX 11.xx on the cd and execute the normal steps for installing the agent on the HPUX machine... And voilá. Very simple. The agent becomes available.
