Tru64 Versions

I need to find out the significance of the the naming of releases for Tru64 ie V5.1B vs V5.1.
Is this classed a major or minor upgrade.

I can say this as major upgrdae, 5.1B has many features than 5.1

Although there are indeed many new features and improvements in V5.1B over V5.1, this is classed as a minor upgrade. This is why only the letter was added to the version number.

We have a binary compatibility statement for the upgrade from V5.1 to V5.1A and V5.1A to V5.1B. No need to requalify your application.

Han's answer satisfied my query - we had to establish whether the upgrade was classed a minor/major for the purpose of satisfying customer contractual obligations.
