vSphere 6.7 Status of other host hardware objects
Hi, for 4 mounth I installed vSphere 6.7 Build 8169922 on Dl380 Gen10, since then I get the Status of other host hardware objects. There are 6 Warnings from sensors. The Host object is red....
Is that solved when I update the Esx with the build VMware-ESXi-6.7.0-Update1-10302608-HPE-Gen9plus-670.U1.10.3.5.12-Oct2018.iso?
Thanks!
Best regards

Re: vSphere 6.7 Status of other host hardware objects
I know in 6.5 it is fixed in the 10884925 release. I am pretty sure in 6.7 it is fixed in the 10302608 release.

Re: vSphere 6.7 Status of other host hardware objects
Hi,
As per VMware the issue is fixed in the ESXi 6.7 U3 Build 15160138.
Please find the below VMware patch release notes for reference:
PR 2340752: HPE servers with firmware version 1.30 might trigger hardware status warnings for I/O module sensors
HPE servers with firmware version 1.30 might report the status of I/O module sensors as warnings. You might see similar messages:
[Device] I/O Module n ALOM_Link_Pn or [Device] I/O module n NIC_Link_Pn.

Re: vSphere 6.7 Status of other host hardware objects
I just installed firmware 2.62 and I am getting the "Status of other host hardware objects" error. The only information I could find was from 2 years ago. I am currently running vSphere 6.7.0 - 19195723. What is the issue?
Thank you.
