hp cd-rewriter 16f does not work properly

I bought a hp pavilion 520c. Last week I formatted my hard drive and install win98 system. But now cd-rewriter does not work. It works well as cf-rom but can not write cd. Do i need to install driver for this cd-rw drive? Where can I download it if I need one? Thank you!

You need to install CD-writer software for Win98 that supports your CD-writer. Win98 doesn't include a built-in package for writing CD's.

Ever stop to think and forget to start again?
