HP Jukebox 160EX and Adaptec 29320

Is HP Jukebox 160EX supported with Adaptec 29320A? I am facing problem detecting that Jukebox at bios level using that adapter

Zakaria,

If you are using a single-ended SCSI Host Bus Adapter (or LVD), you need to be sure that you're connecting the HBA to the single-ended SCSI port on the Jukebox.

The single-ended ports on the jukebox are 50-pin connectors, while the 68-pin connectors are for differential SCSI (HVD) only.

Since the AHA29320 HBA has 68-pin connectors, you'll need a SCSI cable with a 50-pin connector at one end and a 68-pin connector at the other, or an adapter to do that job.

Dave is right.....however we just replaced our with a blu ray jukebox thats more or less compatible with just about every Adaptec model out there. www.phantomdatasystems.com look them up
